UPCOMING ENGLISH VERSION

The English version of Gorgòn and its first monograph will be out in autumn 2011.

On-going work for 2011 includes:

• The formation a new editing team, which will discuss the intellectual goals, the language and the evolution of Gorgòn along with its newly focused concerns:
  • Cultural Studies and Anthropology
  • Mythology and the Imaginary
  • the Reception of the Classics
  • the study of Time and Festivities
  • Leisure, Media and Subcultural issues

• The recruitment of an editorial board of academics, which will guarantee for the scientific authority of the journal.

• The creation of a new editorial plan with two distinct goals: 1) reorganization of already published contents in Italian for English-speaking audience 2) planning of future projects and content in the International Edition.

The newly structured Gorgòn will include:

• An editorial team in charge of editing the contents of the journal.
• A group of consultants and reviewers: scholars, PhD students, experts.
• External collaborators and invited writers.
• An editorial board (philosophers, anthropologists, historian, critics).
  

Gorgòn will offer online publication with related social networking.
On-screen and print-ready PDF files will be available freely.
A limited paper version will be issued and distributed to selected libraries.
